El Metrobús announced the launch of three public tenders for the conservation and maintenance of stations and infrastructure across all seven lines. The services include work on roofs and facades for lines 1 through 7, as well as the rehabilitation of electrical, metallic construction, and asphalt materials. Additionally, there will be installation of confinement elements in the lane separators of all seven lines.

The tender documents, signed by the Executive Directorate of Administration and Finance, specify the scope of work needed to restore the system's infrastructure. Last week, Head of Government Clara Brugada stated that no exact figures had been calculated yet, downplaying the damages and repair costs from celebrations following the World Cup, where people destroyed landscaping and damaged bus shelters, sculptures, and other public infrastructure. She indicated the damages were less than those recorded during protests.
